Community Involvement

The Harmon Group has a strong history of community involvement. The Harmon Group efforts began under the direction of William D. Harmon, our original founder, who served on many community organizations, including two terms as a member of Jennings County School Board. His inspiration led to our current philosophy that our employees are our most important resource. We know by investing in the communities where we live and work further enhances our employees.

The Harmon Group supports numerous not-for-profit organizations each year in the form of hours of community service donated by our employees, as well as, personal and corporate financial contributions. Some of the organizations that we support each year are the American Red Cross, NAACP, UNCF, United Way, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Hospice, American Heart Association, YMCA, and the local schools and universities.

Our philosophy of support the local communities continuous today, as our companies and employees are actively participating and supporting of many community organizations.
